Digital Displays: What They Actually Show
4 min read

Screen-equipped disposables typically report three values.\n\nBattery level is measured directly from cell voltage and is the most accurate of the three. It updates in real time and is reliable for planning a recharge.\n\nRemaining e-liquid is usually estimated from activation count rather than measured directly. It is an approximation derived from an average draw. Heavy users will see the indicator run ahead of the actual level.\n\nAirflow mode shows the currently selected restriction setting where the device supports adjustment. Tighter settings reduce vapour volume and extend runtime.\n\nSome devices add a puff counter. Treat it as a usage log rather than a precise measure of remaining capacity.
