Mesh Coil Technology Explained

A traditional coil is a wrapped wire suspended in cotton. A mesh coil is a perforated metal strip with a far larger contact area against the wicking material.\n\nThat larger surface area heats more evenly and reaches operating temperature faster. The practical result is a more consistent flavour profile from the first activation to the last, and less of the harsh note that appears when a small section of wire overheats.\n\nDual mesh designs split the workload across two elements. In very high capacity devices this matters because a single coil operating for tens of thousands of draws will degrade unevenly. Splitting the load extends the usable consistency window.\n\nMesh also changes wicking requirements. The strip sits flat against the cotton, so reservoir architecture and channel design have to keep up with the faster liquid consumption.
